Tolbert “Pete” Stinnett, nephew of Cyril Stinnett, played backup guitar for his uncle for many years and provided guitar for numerous recordings of Cyril. He is in many ways a gold-standard for Missouri Valley style backup, crisp and competent in many keys and on many types of tune.
